The Sunflower holiday cottage is suitable for accommodation for up to six people. The Sunflower holiday cottage is a cosy rental cottage in Lohilahti, Southern Savonia. Located by the clean waters, the Sunflower can accommodate six people. The cottage features a living room with a sofa bed and two bedrooms, each with two beds.

The cottage's courtyard is spacious and offers privacy for you and your party. Attached to the cottage is an open porch, wood-fired sauna, dressing room, and an outhouse. The diverse surrounding nature ensures plenty of activities, whether your visit falls in spring, summer, or autumn.

Additional services and rental period

We prioritise the comfort and cleanliness of our cottages for our customers.

As an additional service, you can purchase a final cleaning service for the cottage rental, or you can do the cleaning yourself. Additionally, you can rent bed linen for your cottage holiday from us if desired.

Even if you purchase the cleaning service, you are still required to take out the rubbish and any bottles or cans, wash the dishes, and put items back in their places before departure.

The cottage should be left in the same condition as when you arrived (unless a final cleaning service was booked separately). If the cottage is left dirty/uncleaned, a cleaning fee of €50 per hour will be charged retrospectively.

The next guest will appreciate arriving at a well-cleaned holiday cottage.

The rental period for Sunflower during the summer season (1st June - 15th August) is from Saturday at 4:00 PM to Saturday at 12:00 PM. If you wish to rent the cottage for a different period, please ask us about the options! The rental period can also be arranged separately.

Activities for the whole family

When you stay at Muhonen's Holiday Cottages, you have access to numerous recreational activities. The Sunflower holiday cottage is located by the water, and there is a safe and good beach nearby. In addition to swimming, you can also row and fish, as the cottage rental includes a private rowing boat and several fishing rods.

The surrounding nature also offers many different hiking trails, whether you're on a summer holiday or an autumn trip. The abundant forests also provide opportunities for mushroom and berry picking for those interested. You can also obtain hunting permits for the area from the eräluvat.fi website.

By separate arrangement, you can also visit and pet the farm animals in our yard, including sheep, chickens, a rooster, cats, and our dog. You can read more about the activity options here.
